Hiring a Maintenance Technician, or Maintenance Mechanic at Woodridge Interventions facility located in DuPage County, IL.

You will be performing a wide range of repair tasks around our facility.

Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repairRepairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixturesWorking on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occursMaintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properlyApplying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roofFixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuriesPainting the building when old paint has become faded or chippedMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customerBasic Qualifications & SkillsAt least twenty-one (21) years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent, with two years of related experience in the maintenance industry.
Valid Colorado driver's license.
Working knowledge of local, state and federal regulations as they relate to the maintenance industry.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to work with all types of piping (pvc, copper, black iron, etc.
) and the necessary tools required by each type.
Ability to work with various electrical voltages (120, 208, 12, 277) in the various phases (single and three phase).
Clear oral and written communication skills.
Ability to handle loads of up to 50 pounds.
Stationary Engineer's license - preferred.
Proper Refrigerant Practice Certification - preferred.
Certification from American Refrigeration Institute - preferred.
Journeyman/Apprentice electrician license - preferred.
Certification in HVAC from a recognized institution - preferred.
Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands, including nights, weekends and Holidays as needed.
Non-communicable diseases physical exam.
Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
