Woodridge Interventions is looking for Behavioral Health Technicians / Direct Service Technicians to join our team.
Woodridge Interventions is a residential treatment community for male adolescents for substance abuse and addiction therapy.
The program provides a safe environment for young men to build community, find meaning and develop a life in recovery from substances.
Join us! We're changing lives!Direct Service Technicians (DST) perform services involving milieu management, ensuring daily program schedule adherence, planning and implementation of recreational, therapeutic and educational services.
DST provides supervision and structure to residents living in Raleigh House treatment and to clients present in daily therapeutic programming.
Model boundaries, communication, behavior, and recovery living.
They participate in ensuring rules are followed, chores completed, client attendance in groups and at activities, and provide stability and structure.
Oversee milieu during shift:
including completion of chores, meal/snack preparation and clean-up, and check-in/out groups;Track attendance of clients throughout the day;Facilitate check-in/out meetings, milieu meetings and psycho-education groups;Participate in transitioning new clients into treatment including reviewing rules/expectations, scheduling, chore assignments, curfew, schedule, etc.
;Participate in fostering positive communication, boundaries, interactions;Provide a role-model and positive recovery influence;Conduct UA drug and breathalyzer testing; andMaintain communication with clinical staff about dynamics, behavior, events, and other required-to-report issues.

Job Requirements Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDDemonstrates a commitment to begin training or enroll in an educational program in substance abuse, counseling, or other human services program.
Must maintain a valid driver's licenseMinimum Experience RequiredIs able to demonstrate through life experiences (work or volunteer experience in substance abuse field or other human services) for at least one year, the ability and desire to work well with those with substance abuse problems and/or corrections.
Salary:
$9.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
